What is ABA?

Based on the science of learning and behavior, ABA therapy is an effective way to help children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental conditions. ABA therapy applies our understanding of how behavior works to real life situations and events. The goal of ABA is to improve language and communication, motor and social skills, build independence and academic skills, and at the same time decrease inappropriate behaviors. The ABA team at Filling in the Gaps ABA Therapy Center consists of Behavior Technicians, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and ABA Fieldwork Students, all supervised and supported by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

How can we help your child?
