Job Title: BCBA

Area of Function: Clinical Services

Direct Supervisor: Clinical Director

Hours: The hours may vary based on the clients need, but generally be available to work between 8:00 to 6:30. Occasional weekend hours may be required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Conduct behavioral assessments and evaluations
  • Develop treatment plans, and BIPs
  • Conduct direct services with clients as needed
  • Conduct parent training
  • Provide regular on-site supervision and training to Behavior Technicians and BCaBAs.
  • Oversee overall ABA program implementation of assigned clients
  • Graphing of client progress
  • Write clinical reports as needed
  • Maintain weekly direct contact with the clients
  • Participate in our parent training seminars
  • Model professional and ethical conduct for supervisees
  • Meet with supervisor regularly
  • Attend clinical meetings

Case Management Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with parents regarding any concerns
  • Address parent concerns
  • Communicate with supervisor or the appropriate department regarding these concern to best support the clients
  • Ensure data collection and graphing is kept up to date and provide any feedback to client clinical team
  • Meet quality assurance requirements

Other responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Attend necessary training
  • Maximum billable hours
  • Track and covert all billable and non-billable activities on practice manage system calendar
  • Assist with clinical projects and overall development of the clinical department
  • Follow BACB code of conduct
  • Follow company policy and procedures
  • Timely communication with immediate supervisor regarding areas of concerns
  • Timely submission of necessary reports
  • Positively promote the company
  • Participate in company events as required

Physical demands:

Under normal circumstances the employee will need to have the physical capacity to continuously use his/her hands for simple and firm grasping and fine manipulation. The employee may be required to do the following:

  1. Physically able to bend, stand, stoop, or sit for long periods of time, kneel, crouch, sit on the floor and walk up stairs, etc.
  2. Lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
  3. Push / Pull up to 25 lbs.

Job Title:  Behavior Technician

Areas of Function: Clinical Service

Reports to: Clinical Director

Basic and Physical Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology or related field, 1 year of experience as an ABA therapist

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Follow data collection procedures and collect accurate data on acquisition and challenging behavior.
  2. Provide direct intervention in 1:1 and group settings with clients according to the treatment plans using a mixture of intensive instruction and natural environment training
  3. Follow and implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction procedures as designed by the BCBA supervisor
  4. Effectively communicate with clients and other caregivers in relation to client progress and performance as instructed by supervisor
  5. Collaborate with treatment team including supervisor, client, parent, other technicians, teachers, and other co-workers.
  6. Consult with supervisor for technical assistance when needed
  7. Follow company policies and procedures regarding abuse/neglect, incident report, confidentiality, etc.
  8. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
  9. Maintain and acquire knowledge/skills by attending all required trainings and staff meetings.
  10. Follow company policies and procedures
  1. Other duties as assigned.

Basic and Physical Requirements:

All Levels

Lift 40 lbs

Must be able  to maintain and assume a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing)

Must be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time

Must have reliable methods to get to work on time

Must have manual dexterity in order to perform specific electronic functions for session notes/data collection.

Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate in oral and written formats

Must be able to work independently and demonstrate strong time management skills

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology or related field
  • 1 year of experience as a Behavior Technician
