Our Programs
Filling in the Gaps offers several programs that are rooted in ABA practices and techniques that are both individualized and evidence-based.
1:1 ABA Therapy
- In-Home
- Center Based
- Telehealth
- Early Intervention (1-5 yrs)
- School Age (5-18 yrs)
Communication and language, self care, appropriate play and social skills, and academic skill acquisition are all areas addressed in 1:1 ABA Therapy. Each ABA program is individualized for each learner. Direct care is provided by a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician (BT) and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Early Intervention School Readiness Academy
- Pre-School (3-5 yrs)
- Transitional Kindergarten (6 yrs)
With the direction of Applied Behavior Analysis and Tennessee’s School Readiness Model, FITG School Readiness Program equips its learners to be ready for school physically, cognitively, socially and emotionally. FITG’s Academy is taught by a licensed professional Special Education teacher and Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Social Skills Groups
- Pre-School (3-6 yrs)
- Youth (7-10 yrs)
- Pre-teen/Teen (11-15 yrs)
Our groups aim to clarify how the social world works and why specific social skills are important. Each group addresses age appropriate skills. There are also individual social skill programs available.
Family Support Groups
- All Ages
Although each program that is developed at FITG’s includes Parent Training, FITG’s Family Support Groups takes family collaboration a step further. FITG’s links families with other local families and community leaders to build mutual support groups. This is in an effort to bring awareness to Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Who Do We Serve
Here at FITG, although we serve learners who have Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Developmental Delays, we also serve learners who struggle with behavioral, social, language and/or communication and functional skills.
